What To Look For:

• Broken Frames, detachment from arms or connection points.
• Corrosion on metal.
• Any cracks, tears, or missing pieces in the rubber.
• Rubber squeegee should fit flush against the windshield and shouldn’t have rounded edges.
• Flexible rubber is a must – if your squeegee isn’t flexible it can cause streaks.
• Loose fit of the squeegee on wiper frame.

Common Problems:

• Streaking
• Skipping
• Wearing
• Splitting
• Bent Frames

If you notice any of the common problems listed above, it’s time to swap out your wipers for a new pair. These problems will make it difficult to see out of your windshield when inclement weather hits and can lead to dangerous situations.

How To Avoid Ruining Your Wipers:

• Clean your windshield each time to you fill up the tank.
• NEVER use your wipers as an ice scraper, use your defroster.
• During winter months, pull your wipers away from the windshield to prevent ice build up.
• Clean your wiper blades using a wet paper towel to remove dirt and grime.
