Looking to treat your Toyota to something sweet this February? We have a few things for you, then! Our list is easy and not overbearing, we promise. Just take a look and be sure to schedule your service appointment with our team so you can skip the long wait and get back on the road with your valentine, we mean your vehicle! Let’s get started!

A car wash

  • Your vehicle might be looking a little dirty these days and it’s time to treat it to a car wash. Top to bottom, go all-in, and don’t skip out on treating your ride to a bath this month!

An oil change

  • If it’s been a while, it might be time to treat your ride to some new oil and perhaps a new oil filter, too. We encourage you to stop in or schedule your service appointment online today! And don’t forget to check out our service specials to save when you stop in!

Top off fluids

  • As we get closer to spring break, you might be thinking about taking a trip somewhere and that means your ride needs all the proper fluids in order to perform properly. So ask our technicians to take a look at all of your vehicle’s fluids and top them off!

New wiper blades

  • We’re headed straight for a rainy season and if your wiper blades are beaten up, old or broken, they’re not offering their full potential to you. And it’s important to see clearly on the road when the rain starts to come down. Take a look at them and stop in for replacements!

New Battery

  • While we’re just coming out of January, and we think the cold temperatures might be behind us, that doesn’t mean the harm has already been done to our vehicle’s battery! And it’s important for you to stop in to have it checked and replaced so you’re not stranded with a dead battery!

Car Fluids To Keep Your Ride In Check! | Hollidaysburg, PA

Owning a vehicle can be a strenuous task - what do I need to know? When should I swap out fluids? How much will it cost? Trust me, we’ve all been there and sometimes, things can be a bit trickier than others when it comes to servicing your vehicle. Like car fluids, for example. But there’s no need to stress, our team is here to help you have a successful ownership experience and this week we are bringing you important car fluids that you should know about and know what it is that they do. So, check those out below and give us a call to schedule your service appointment! Fiore Toyota's Vehicle Fluid Guide: Engine Oil Keeping those moving parts in your engine is easier than you thought - just keep your engine oil filled to the right levels and you’ll be good to go. If you don’t, you run the risk of damaging your vehicle and getting a hefty repair bill when it’s time to fix up your ride. If you choose to check the oil yourself, check out the owner’s manual or leave it to a professional which we recommend if you’re new under the hood. Radiator Fluid We hope you know that radiator fluid goes, well,  in the radiator. But, it also keeps your engine from overheating, which is VERY important. If you ever notice your engine running a little hot, you might be running low on this fluid and it’s time to check it. If you ignore this, you’ll end up with a hefty repair bill. We recommend leaving this fix o the professionals for safety reasons. Power Steering Fluid Much like your vehicle’s engine, your power steering system has to be lubricated at all times for best results and control when it comes to steering and wheels. If you don’t have proper fluid levels, you will lose control and that is not good. This is one of the easiest fluids to fill, so if you’re low or totally out (which we hope you’re not), take out your owner’s manual and DIY! Brake Fluid Your brake fluid has the important job of bringing your vehicle to a complete stop when you’re ready. If you run low or out of this fluid, you run the risk of not being able to stop and that can cause some problems. Check out your vehicle’s owner manual for directions on how to add or change brake fluid in your vehicle and be sure to take a look at the color, too. If it’s dark - have a mechanic replace ASAP!

Questions To Ask When Buying A New Toyota | Hollidaysburg, PA

Summer is coming to a close and that means you could be ready to upgrade your ride. Or perhaps you have a college student that could use a new set of wheels. Whether that’s you or someone you love, we have plenty of next Kia models waiting for you right here at Fiore Toyota. But first, we want to spread a little knowledge with you! Below, you will find a few important questions you’ll want to ask before signing on the dotted line. It’s important to know exactly what you are getting when you purchase a new vehicle and these questions will help determine that. So, check them out, put them to good use, and come see our team when you’re ready to upgrade your ride! We look forward to seeing you soon! Are there any additional fees? We hope it isn’t a shock but when buying a new car, you’ll be paying for more than just the car itself. It’s a good idea to ask what fees you are going to pay and how much they will be. This will cut down on confusion when it’s time for you to sign and drive off the lot with your new Toyota. What other amenities does the vehicle come with? Cars these days come with many gadgets and gizmos and you will want to know what they are before driving off or signing. Why? Well, if the vehicle you’re considering has features that you may not use or want - you probably don’t want to pay for them. Also, on the flip side, if you’re looking for specific features, you’ll want to ask and make sure your new vehicle is equipped with them. Will you hold the vehicle while I make a decision? Of course, we will but we like to put this on here to ensure that you ask and don’t lose out on a great new vehicle that you’ve fallen in love with. We encourage our customers to take the time they need, buying a new vehicle is a big investment and we want you to be sure this is the right option for you! How long is the warranty and what does it cover? Your vehicle is an investment and you will need to take care of that investment. Be sure to ask what type of warranty your vehicle comes with and how long it will last. These warranties will help keep some cash in your wallet when it comes to repairs and maintenance.

Stay Cool, Use These Car Cooling Tips! | Hollidaysburg, PA

Things are getting HOT HOT HOT here in Hollidaysburg, PA and we want to help you keep cool this summer! That starts right here on our blog with our top five summer tips on how to keep your vehicle cool in hot temperatures. Check it out below and if you’re ready to upgrade into a brand new Toyota, you know where to find us! Plus, the dealership is cool so maybe take a break from the hot summer heat and cool off right here at Fiore Toyota. See you soon! Use a sunshade or window visor. This is a great go-to method for drivers who are hoping to counteract the hot interior temperatures throughout the summer season. We recommend placing your sunshade or window visor each time you exit your vehicle for more than a few minutes. If you’re looking for a pro tip, put a sunshade on your rear windshield as well! Use a dash cover. Using a dash cover can make a big difference in making your vehicle’s interior more comfortable during hot temperatures. Dash covers will help you from touching hot vinyl surfaces and will also protect sensitive vinyl from any sun damage which can cause cracking and fading. Cover your steering wheel with a hand towel. Even when you use a sunshade, your steering wheel can still get very hot. Our recommendation is to place a small towel over your steering wheel. This will help keep your hands from burning when in contact with the steering wheel. Park in a shady area. When and if possible, park in shady areas. And if you’re going to be outside of your vehicle for an extended period of time, it’s worth a farther walk if you are able to park in the shade. You’ll be much happier that you parked farther away in the shade after your day out! Keep your possessions out of the sun. Keep any and all possessions, delicate or not, out of direct sunlight. Try storing your items underneath your seat or in a glove box. You can also throw a blanket over your possessions for extra measures. If you can’t find a place in your car that will conceal heat-sensitive goods, consider placing them in the trunk.
