Edmunds.com has just released their fifth annual Best Retained Value® Awards and Toyota has been named the top non-luxury brand. The awards rank brands based upon their highest projected residual values after five years which is determined by each car’s Emunds.com True Market Value® price when sold brand new.
“Earning the Edmunds.com ‘Best Retained Value®’ award is a great honor and a testament to Toyota’s commitment to quality, durability and reliability, all key ingredients for great value,” said Bill Fay, group vice president and general manager, Toyota Division.
Additionally, Toyota beat out every other brand, with four models earning the top spot in their segments for highest resale value. The Tacoma Pickup, Highlander, Tundra Pickup, and Avalon were all top spot winners, showing exactly why Toyota is such a great brand.
