Toyota has released another advertising campaign for the 2015 Toyota Camry, and the focus is once again on Dads. The first campaign featuring this model was the “One Bold Choice Leads to Other” that the brand released around Super Bowl XLIX earlier this year. This new campaign has now aptly been released in celebration of the upcoming Father’s Day holiday and will include two different videos.
The first video is called “Father’s Day Rodeo” and it features a series of “man on the street” interviews with people in Los Angeles. During the interview, they all discuss how they celebrate Father’s day and what their dad means to them in their life. Most of them are all quick to admit that they are not the best at remembering to buy Father’s Day gifts, but they also praise their dad for what he has done for them. At the end of the spot, we see all of these individuals picking up the phone and calling their dads just to say that they love them.
Father’s Day Rodeo:
The second video is called “Father’s Day Reunion” and it follows the story of one father and son who have had a long-distance relationship for most of the son’s life. The son lives in Los Angeles where he grew up, but his dad has lived in Wyoming since his son was about ten years old and they have had very few Father’s Day celebrations together. In the film we see the two reunited when the son flies out to Wyoming for a visit and we hear them each discuss what their relationship means to them.
