One of my favorite holidays is here – the 4th of July! Why? Well, I believe the 4th serves two purposes. One, the celebration of America’s independence. Two, the official start of summer! Both are great reasons to get excited over and perhaps you have a day off a work! There, now you have THREE reasons to be excited! And with this holiday, us Americans love to celebrate with fireworks! This week I have your guide to watching those awe-inspiring, jaw-dropping firework shows from the comfort of your beloved Toyota! Follow below and let us know of any tips/ tricks you’ve picked up along the way!

First things first, is a great viewing spot. You want to find a location that you and the family will be able to “ooh” and “ahh” all those beautiful color explosions in the sky! Steer clear of heavily wooded areas or any place that may have a lot of trees obstructing your view. Look for an area that overlooks the area that is hosting the fireworks show! Also, once you find that spot – make sure to put your parking brake on so there are no unexpected surprises.

So, we have the perfect spot but what do you need to bring along? If you have a Toyota SUV or Truck, set up camp in the back seats or tailgate. You’ll want to stay comfy, bring a few blankets, pillows, and a sweatshirt in case it gets a little chilly. Don’t forget the snacks, either! If you plan to watch from the front seat of your Toyota, recline the seats, and enjoy the show!

Pro-tip! If you are in an area that may be buggy – keep your windows closed! You’ll still get the same view of the show without all those pesky bug bites!
